Architect and designer, Francesca earned a master’s degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 2002 and right after moved to London.

At first, given her keen interest in urban planning, she joined EDAW and worked on the London Olympic Masterplan, after which she collaborated with HOK on large scale architectural projects and finally with Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands where she experienced the design process of small to medium scale projects and found her path.

In 2010 she started Griffin-Oggioni Architects together with her friend Nina Griffin focusing on residential and commercial projects in central London and enjoyed the challenges of the English Heritage until 2021 when she decided it was time to move back to Italy with her family.
Back in Milan Francesca created FO Architects, a growing team of English-speaking architects with international background, working on high-end residences both in Italy and across Europe.

Francesca enjoys designing homes. Homes that are always different because they are the ultimate reflection of their owner’s personality, with their passions and habits.

Every individual has a different idea of what home is and the responsibility of the architect is to translate this idea into architectural choices that are functionally coherent and aesthetically consistent. And when this process is well executed the result is a calm, harmonious space, tailored-made to the client. Francesca aims to achieve this, time after time.
